Care Instructions

To keep your hand-dyed projects looking beautiful for years, the best approach is a gentle soak in cool water with a teaspoon of no-rinse wool wash. Even if a yarn is labelled superwash, skipping the washing machine stops the friction from fuzzing up your stitches over time. Just let your FO soak for a 5-7 minutes, then gently press out the water without wringing or twisting.

To dry, roll your project in a clean towel to squeeze out the remaining dampness, then lay it flat out of direct sunlight. Don't worry if you see a tiny bit of colour in the water during the first wash; it's totally normal for small-batch dyes. If you are washing dark colours or high-contrast projects, popping a colour catcher into the soaking water is a brilliant way to prevent any bleeding and keep your shades completely crisp.

Please note: this yarn is a handcrafted product, so no two skeins are alike and there will be some natural variation between skeins. I recommend alternating your skeins for larger projects and ordering enough skeins to complete your projects.

We cannot guarantee colours will appear exactly as pictured in the photographs on the website. All of my yarn has been photographed to give you the best representation of colour, but please be aware that screens can differ slightly so please allow for slight variations.
