Shipping policy
All ready to ship orders are processed within 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and UK holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
For Dye to Order products, please allow 4-5 weeks, for your order to be dyed and processed before it is shipped! If you purchase a ready to ship product alongside a dye to order product, they will ship together when your order is complete.
A note on my process: I am a one-woman show and work hard to get your orders to you as quciky as possible. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Domestic Shipping (UK)
Shipping Method: I offer £3.50 flat rate shipping to the UK.
Combined Orders: If you place multiple orders and wish to combine them, please send me an email at theskeinandthestitch@gmail.com as soon as possible. Please note that combining orders is not always possible but I'll do my best to accomodate you.
International Shipping
Shipping Method: I offer flat rate worldwide shipping, at the following rates. All international packages are sent with a tracked and signed service as standard, so you can monitor your parcel's journey.
- Shipping to the EU/rest of Europe: £10
- Shipping to the rest of the world: £20
Customs, Duties, and Import Fees: You are responsible for all customs, import duties, VAT, and handling fees that may be charged by your country's customs office. These fees are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer. Please be mindful of this when ordering, especially if you are located in countries with high import taxes. I am not responsible for any additional fees you may incur.
Refused and Unclaimed Packages: Please refer to my Return and Refund Policy for detailed information on what happens if a package is refused or remains unclaimed at customs.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediatley with photos of the damaged item and the packaging.
Lost Packages: In the rare event that your order is lost in transit, I will take responsibility for resolving the issue. However, to prevent abuse of this policy, please follow these steps:

Reasonable Time Frame: I cannot process a claim for a lost package until a reasonable time has passed. This is typically 10 working days for UK orders and 25 working days for international orders from the date of shipment.

Report to Me First: If your parcel has not arrived within this timeframe, please contact me directly at theskeinandthestitch@gmail.com. Do not open a case with the shipping carrier.

Customer Cooperation: I will then file a claim with the postal carrier on your behalf. I may need your cooperation to provide details or complete a simple form. This is a mandatory step for me to receive compensation for the loss. Refusal to cooperate may void your eligibility for a refund or replacement.

Proof of Delivery: For a package to be considered "delivered," it must be in your physical possession. I will not be liable for packages that are stolen after they have been successfully delivered to the correct address. If tracking shows an item was delivered but you claim it is missing, I will do my best to assist, but my ability to offer a refund or replacement will depend on the outcome of the postal carrier's investigation.
